Iconic modern and contemporary skyscrapers, as well as works by world-renowned artists, are featured on this 90-minute walking tour. Chicago was at the forefront of Modernism, the style that revolutionized our visual world during the mid-20th century, and the city has remained a leading center for innovation in architecture.
On this tour, you'll encounter famous skyscrapers by such pioneers of Modernism as Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Bertrand Goldberg and Edward Durell Stone. Together with these buildings are masterpieces of public art by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Alexander Calder and more. We'll also view contemporary skyscrapers as we look into the architecture of the 21st century.
